Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary partner to Directors for employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, and terminations
  • Provide guidance to Directors on handling sensitive employee situations with consistency and compliance
  • Lead and document investigations to ensure legally sound outcomes
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen performance management practices, goal setting, and accountability
  • Coach Directors on effective communication, empathetic leadership, and employee development
  • Monitor team health, engagement, and retention trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Support change management efforts and facilitate team alignment workshops
  • Ensure consistent application of policies and alignment with employment laws

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles
  • Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and best practices
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels
  • Strong judgment and ability to navigate complex, sensitive situations with discretion
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
