Job description
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary partner to Directors for employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, investigations, and terminations
- Provide guidance to Directors on handling sensitive employee situations with consistency and compliance
- Lead and document investigations to ensure legally sound outcomes
- Partner with leaders to strengthen performance management practices, goal setting, and accountability
- Coach Directors on effective communication, empathetic leadership, and employee development
- Monitor team health, engagement, and retention trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Support change management efforts and facilitate team alignment workshops
- Ensure consistent application of policies and alignment with employment laws
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner roles
- Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching
- Working knowledge of employment laws and best practices
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels
- Strong judgment and ability to navigate complex, sensitive situations with discretion
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
