Hungarian Interpreter (OPI/VRI)

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate OPI/VRI interpretation between Hungarian and English in healthcare and medical settings
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to interpreter standards of practice
• Take detailed notes during calls to ensure accuracy
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue relevant certifications
• Report to team leadership and comply with dress code for video interpreting

Requirements

• Native fluency in Hungarian and fluent English
• 1+ years of telephone interpretation experience with a recognized interpretation company
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology
• High school diploma
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
• Wired internet connection (10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload minimum; Wi-Fi not permitted)
• Windows 10 or higher with dual core 2GHz processor and 8GB RAM minimum
• Noise-cancelling wired headset with built-in microphone (no Bluetooth/wireless)
