HVAC Sales and Application Engineer – Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop opportunities with consultants, contractors, and end users across the UAE
• Conduct site surveys; review tender drawings/specs, MEP schedules, and psychrometrics for UAE T3 conditions
• Size and select AHU/FAHU/HRV and VRF/DX systems; specify accessories (filters, EC fans, VFDs, ERV/HRV, UV)
• Prepare selection printouts, data sheets, compliance matrices, and value‑engineered proposals to ASHRAE/Eurovent and local authority standards
• Build technical and commercial offers: BOQs, clarifications/deviations, delivery schedules, warranties
• Deliver presentations, run selection demos, and support case studies/ROI (e.g., DCKV energy savings)
• Handover to projects: order packs, submittals, FAT/SAT support, commissioning and operator handover
• Maintain CRM pipeline; prepare PQ/authority compliance documents; forecast pipeline and track orders vs targets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) or equivalent
• 3–5 years’ HVAC sales/application engineering experience (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Proficiency in psychrometrics, AHU coil/ESP selection, VRF sizing, fan curves, and basic load calculations
• Ability to read MEP drawings/specs and produce accurate BOQs and submittals
• Strong presentation, documentation, and negotiation skills
• Tools: MS Office, AutoCAD (basics), CRM; exposure to HAP/TRACE is a plus
• UAE driving license; able to manage technical approvals and compliances

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hygienic AHUs, heat recovery, and cleanroom specifications
• Knowledge of DCKV, kitchen hoods, air curtains, and kitchen ecology systems
• Awareness of LEED/Estidama impacts on selections
• Existing UAE MEP network and GCC tendering experience
