IBM z/OS System Programmer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS operating systems and subsystems
• Manage and support ZOSMF and SMP/E environments
• Perform dump analysis to diagnose and resolve system issues
• Provide technical expertise in Assembler language for system-level coding and debugging
• Maintain and support Broadcom Top Secret security system
• Oversee CICS installation, debugging, and performance optimization
• Generate and analyze SMF reports for performance monitoring and system tuning
• Utilize SAS and MXG for advanced data analysis and reporting
• Manage and support Broadcom program products such as CA 1, CA 7, and Endevor
• Ensure robust network connectivity and troubleshoot networking issues in mainframe environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM z/OS systems
• Proficiency in ZOSMF and SMP/E installation and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of Assembler language and dump analysis
• Expertise in Broadcom CA-Top Secret highly preferred
• Experience with CICS installation, debugging, and performance tuning
• Demonstrated experience with SMF reporting, SAS, and MXG
• Familiarity with Broadcom products like CA 1, CA 7, and Endevor
• Strong networking knowledge in mainframe environments
