Indonesian Creative UI and Marketing Linguist

Responsibilities

• Translate and review English-to-Indonesian marketing and social media content for a global music streaming client
• Ensure original meaning is conveyed in a manner readable and understandable to the target audience
• Meet weekly capacity of 2,000 to 5,000 words using Smartling CAT tool
• Follow project instructions including character restrictions and style guidelines
• Communicate rationale behind translation choices effectively

Requirements

• 3+ years of translation and review experience in marketing and social media content
• Native fluency in Indonesian with excellent English communication skills
• Proficiency in translation and terminology tools, specifically Smartling CAT tool
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience
• Ability to both translate and review content with attention to detail
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments preferred
