Infrastructure Architect (Trading)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Implement security measures, policies, and procedures to safeguard infrastructure and data against breaches and cyberattacks.
• Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment of infrastructure with IT strategy.
• Stay current with technological advancements to identify opportunities for infrastructure innovation and improvement.
• Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize for efficiency and scalability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and processes.
• Reduce overall cloud service costs while maintaining or improving performance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure design and implementation.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) with proficiency in AWS; multi-cloud deployment experience preferred.
• Proven experience designing data-intensive, large-scale, high-performance trading data platforms.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, secure Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions (container orchestration, cluster management, deployment optimization).
• Experience in financial services data workflows, covering trading, middle office, and back office.
• Proficient in GitOps tools and methodologies for infrastructure automation and deployment.
• Strong background in DevSecFinOps for compliance, security, and cost efficiency.
• CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring tools experience.
• Extensive disaster recovery planning and backup system management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) certification preferred.
• Terraform Associate or Professional certification preferred.
• Passion for building scalable, reliable systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
