Responsibilities

• Support the deployment and maintenance of distributed infrastructure powering Nexus's L1 blockchain and exchange
• Assist in optimizing transaction pipelines for speed and reliability
• Contribute to building secure, production-grade systems that meet performance requirements
• Help maintain high-availability infrastructure across cloud and distributed environments
• Learn and apply best practices for observability, reliability, and secure operations

Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure or distributed systems
• Working knowledge of Rust, Go, or another systems language
• Basic understanding of distributed systems concepts (consensus, fault tolerance, latency)
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus
• Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Basic experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Good written and spoken Business English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running distributed blockchain infrastructure, validator networks, or Layer-1 systems
• Knowledge of MEV mitigation, transaction ordering fairness, or decentralized exchange infrastructure
• Experience optimizing consensus or transaction pipelines for determinism and low latency
• Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs or cryptography
