Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, outcome-driven learning solutions across e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning modalities
• Create high-quality training assets including courses, videos, job aids, facilitator guides, and assessments
• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning needs and align solutions to business goals
• Conduct needs analyses to diagnose performance gaps and recommend interventions
• Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectiveness using methods like Kirkpatrick Levels
• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate content development and improve efficiency
• Maintain a centralized inventory of learning assets to support knowledge retention

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
• Experience designing both virtual and instructor-led training programs
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or a regulated industry
• Experience working in fast-paced, operational environments
• Understanding of SCORM/xAPI and learning analytics
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce
• Experience leveraging AI tools for content development or workflow optimization
