Insurance Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Own a sales quota and achieve revenue targets
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies for Parcel Insurance
• Identify and engage high-potential accounts in target industries
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers
• Conduct account research and discovery to identify customer pain points
• Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
• Negotiate pricing and contracts
• Partner with internal Sales, Product, and Operations teams
• Maintain accurate CRM data
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience
• Direct experience selling parcel, shipping, freight, or cargo insurance
• Proven experience managing the full sales cycle
• Strong understanding of the parcel/shipping insurance market
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM
• Self-motivated and highly organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network within the logistics or insurance ecosystem
• Experience selling insurance through a technology platform or API
• Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
• Familiarity with shipping technology and e-commerce infrastructure
