Intake Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls, acting as both receptionist and salesperson
• Manage the full-cycle intake process from initial contact through client signing
• Execute consultative sales to build trust and guide prospective clients toward hiring the firm
• Focus on one-call closes to maximize conversion rates
• Screen and qualify calls to determine case fit or schedule attorney consultations
• Support Spanish-speaking clients to expand the firm's strategic market segment
• Schedule appointments and ensure smooth handoffs to the case management team
• Adhere to and adapt firm scripts and intake workflows

Requirements

• Previous intake experience in a legal setting, preferably criminal defense
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Proven track record in consultative sales and one-call closing
• High emotional intelligence and empathy for clients in distress
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Availability for non-traditional hours (ideal schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM MDT)
