Intern, AI (PMO)

Responsibilities

• Partner with the PMO team to understand project management workflows and efficiency opportunities
• Write, test, and refine AI prompts for project updates, status summaries, and risk tracking
• Help create and organize Copilot-based agents to support PMO processes
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, clarity, and consistency
• Document prompt patterns, agent logic, and best practices for scalability
• Support the development of governance and quality standards for prompt usage
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into structured AI interactions
• Identify opportunities to streamline access to project data and reporting through AI design
• Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates
• Stay current on emerging prompt engineering techniques and Copilot uses

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Communications
• Strong written communication skills
• Interest in generative AI and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic understanding of Copilot or similar AI tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess output accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a part-time internship setting
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and iterating based on feedback
• Collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using AI tools for content drafting or automation
• Experience writing prompts or workflows for process improvement
• Familiarity with structured data and reporting environments
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or knowledge management tools
• Interest in designing user-friendly AI solutions
