Job Description
This Solutions Architect role is based in Dubai, UAE and supports compliance-focused backend engineering for Binance. The position requires strong Java Spring microservice architecture experience, excellent cross-team communication, and fluency in English and Chinese. The role is offered as a hybrid position (office + remote) with occasional time-shift collaboration across geo-locations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java Spring-based microservice architectures for compliance systems
- Own end-to-end system architecture in collaboration with product and project managers
- Coordinate technical implementation across domain teams and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Conduct architectural reviews, risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams
- Work flexible hours to collaborate with international stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years software development and architecture experience
- Strong experience with Java Spring and microservices
- Proven system architecture and design skills
- Excellent cross-team communication and stakeholder management
- Fluency in English and Chinese for effective collaboration
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial services, compliance, or regulated environments
- Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput platforms
- Familiarity with API design (RESTful APIs) and integration patterns
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading architectural initiatives
