Job Description

This Solutions Architect role is based in Dubai, UAE and supports compliance-focused backend engineering for Binance. The position requires strong Java Spring microservice architecture experience, excellent cross-team communication, and fluency in English and Chinese. The role is offered as a hybrid position (office + remote) with occasional time-shift collaboration across geo-locations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Java Spring-based microservice architectures for compliance systems
  • Own end-to-end system architecture in collaboration with product and project managers
  • Coordinate technical implementation across domain teams and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Conduct architectural reviews, risk assessments, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams
  • Work flexible hours to collaborate with international stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years software development and architecture experience
  • Strong experience with Java Spring and microservices
  • Proven system architecture and design skills
  • Excellent cross-team communication and stakeholder management
  • Fluency in English and Chinese for effective collaboration
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in financial services, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput platforms
  • Familiarity with API design (RESTful APIs) and integration patterns
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading architectural initiatives
