Java Engineer - Compliance (UAE)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java micro-service applications using Spring Boot with a compliance focus.
• Collaborate with regional Compliance, Engineering, and Security teams based in the UAE to define and implement features that meet regulatory requirements.
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code; follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize applications for reliability and performance in production.
• Implement and maintain secure, auditable services that support compliance workflows and reporting.
• Work across time zones with distributed teams while ensuring timely delivery and clear communication in Dubai working hours as required.

• Experience building systems for regulated environments (AML, KYC, reporting)
