Job Description
Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify customer order details through follow-up with customers and internal teams to generate accurate information.
- Provide timely response to all incidents and performance alerts, categorizing issues for escalation.
- Process and take action on supplier and/or customer maintenance communications.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Network Engineers toward common goals.
- Responsible for Network & Data Communication Systems.
- Ensure customer excellence through internal/external engagement and relationship management.
- Demonstrate strong customer support orientation and knowledge of customer service processes.
- Foster a great workplace environment through dedication, enthusiasm, knowledge sharing, integrity, and a desire to support others.
- Maintain compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
- Exhibit confidence, self-belief, and openness to new ideas, adapting and embracing challenges and opportunities.
- Continuously develop skills by attending required training and keeping knowledge updated on products, services, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
- Background in Service Desk support roles.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar.
- Good understanding of IT best practices and procedures (e.g., ITIL v3).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in IT/Telecommunications.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to perform under tight deadlines and high-pressure.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, network configuration management, VPNs, information security standards, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional languages (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, etc.) are a plus.
