Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various ocular conditions.
• Assist in surgical procedures while gaining practical experience under the mentorship of senior colleagues.
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
• Keep current with ongoing education and advancements in the field of ophthalmology.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a completed residency in Ophthalmology.
• Board eligibility in Ophthalmology; certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in an ophthalmic setting is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
• Strong understanding of eye anatomy, diseases, and treatment methods.
• Excellent communication skills, fostering a positive patient experience.
• Ability to work under supervision, embracing mentorship opportunities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality patient care.
• Motivated to grow professionally through ongoing training and education.
