Junior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of cybersecurity engineering requirements and authorization processes including FedRAMP and RMF
• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure IT and Cloud-based systems
• Assist with systems engineering activities for large-scale federal and/or commercial Cloud solutions
• Participate in Federal Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies, processes, and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving system and security requirements

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience
• At least 1 year of experience in Cybersecurity or Cloud Security within a U.S. Government agency
• Practical knowledge of federal IT security standards and frameworks
• Must hold at least one certification: IAT I, IAM I, or IASAE I
• Ability to pass a mid-level background investigation
