Laravel Developer (Remote / Local)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using the latest Laravel framework and PHP.
• Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs for integrations and third‑party services.
• Implement SOLID principles, OOP and MVC patterns to produce clean, maintainable code.
• Create and run unit and integration tests (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) to ensure code quality.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas; perform query tuning for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Configure and manage server environments (Apache, Nginx, PHP‑FPM) and deploy applications to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate technical decisions to non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure services and deploying scalable applications.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles and test‑driven development.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
