Lead 3D Character Artist

Responsibilities

• Provide both technical and artistic feedback to the character art team
• Mentor and review the work of 3D artists to maintain high production standards
• Maintain and oversee production assets throughout the pipeline
• Collaborate with a team of artists and communicate directly with customers via calls and emails
• Work within modern video game asset production pipelines and various game engines

Requirements

• Proven experience in mentoring and checking the work of 3D artists
• Deep understanding of game engines and modern video game asset production pipelines
• Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken) for business communication
• Ability to work under clear planning and meet strict deadlines
• High level of responsibility and initiative in creative problem-solving
• Must have a personal remote workstation running Windows 11 or higher
• Must have a headset with a microphone for professional calls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within outsource teams or dedicated game development studios
• Formal art education or a strong artistic background
