Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the core backend architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to build integrated backend solutions
• Monitor and improve system reliability and security to handle high-volume requests
• Oversee database architecture and optimize queries for data integrity and performance
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks to enhance infrastructure

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of software architecture and scalable system design
• Experience building APIs, backend services, and database-driven applications
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and performance optimization
• Understanding of application security and modern development best practices
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical leadership
• Experience using AI Agents and implementing/building AI tools and Agents
