Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Build and own end-to-end pricing systems, from experimentation to production, to drive revenue and unit economics
• Lead high-impact pricing experiments using advanced methods to uncover drivers for conversion, retention, and profitability
• Act as a subject matter expert in pricing and demand modeling, influencing strategy across Product, Risk, Finance, and Marketing
• Drive cross-functional initiatives from ideation to launch, partnering with engineering to deliver scalable solutions
• Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for leadership decision-making
• Mentor teammates and raise the bar for technical rigor in modeling and experimentation

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science, pricing, or quantitative modeling
• Strong fluency in Python or R
• Proficiency in SQL
• Deep expertise in pricing optimization, elasticity, and econometrics
• Proven experience applying causal inference and experimentation in real-world settings
• Ability to own complex problems end-to-end and thrive in cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services with direct ownership of pricing models
• Familiarity with financial metrics, risk-adjusted returns, and capital markets
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern data tools such as AWS, DBT, Airflow, or Looker
• Exposure to LLMs or NLP applied to pricing or financial use cases
