Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product managers, and engineers, to implement data-driven solutions.
• Assess client business needs to identify opportunities for AI to improve processes, reduce costs, or increase revenue.
• Design and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, and agentic systems.
• Communicate technical insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Mentor and develop the skills of junior data scientists through regular feedback and guidance.
• Manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including building, deploying, and maintaining models while ensuring data quality.

Requirements

• Masters, PhD, or advanced training in applied mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with cloud compute environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven experience leading data science teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with R, C++, SQL, or Generative AI.
• Industry experience in finance, healthcare, e-commerce, retail, or marketing.
