Lead Engineer (Technical Lead) – Power Generation Design

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key technical resource for the Power Generation Design team
• Establish engineering standards, project execution strategies, and mentor team members
• Lead conceptual and detailed design for power plant site planning, generator systems, MV/LV distribution, and BOP electrical/mechanical design
• Establish design templates, checklists, and QA/QC standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineers
• Act as the Technical Authority in client meetings and design reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience supervising, mentoring, or leading technical personnel
• Strong understanding of power systems, generation interconnection, and high-voltage infrastructure
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in power generation, utility, or industrial power design
• Experience with Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, RICE, Steam, BESS, or Microgrids
