Lead Full-Stack Engineer

About the Company

Complexio is building Stevie — an enterprise AI knowledge assistant that gives executives and operators a complete view of their organization through knowledge graphs. Our customers are large maritime shipping companies managing hundreds of vessels, thousands of daily emails, and complex commercial operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full frontend, including conversational AI interfaces, content feeds, document generation, and collaborative features
• Shape product direction and architectural decisions
• Create new UX patterns for enterprise AI, such as citations from knowledge graphs and streaming AI responses
• Prototype, ship to production, and iterate based on user feedback

Requirements

• 5+ years of production frontend experience
• Deep understanding of rendering models, performance, and architectural patterns
• Experience with real-time/streaming UI (WebSockets, SSE, or similar)
• Strong product sense and ability to push back on UX decisions
• Ability to handle ambiguity and turn vague problems into concrete solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Enterprise/B2B SaaS
• AI product experience (latency UX, citation rendering, hallucination presentation)
• Strong design sensibility for polished interfaces
• Backend literacy and ability to collaborate on REST API data contracts
• Startup experience in small, fast-moving teams
