About the Company

Gaijin develops AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder", "Enlisted" and other games. The Gaijin team consists of hundreds of talented game developers from all over Europe and is constantly growing.

Responsibilities

• Work with outsourcing teams in a lead role: provide feedback, control deadlines, mentor, and demonstrate best practices
• Create details and micro-details for environments, improve and rework existing ones
• Craft details and micro-details for characters/assets
• Design decals for assets/characters/environments
• Tune final PBR materials within the project engine

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in Substance Designer, Zbrush, and Substance Painter
• Experience with custom engines and shaders
• Experience with various version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Houdini
• Hand-drawing skills
• Experience in team management or working with outsourcing partners
• Artistic education or relevant background
