About the Company

Blackbird Health is a clinician-founded mental health organization providing virtual and in-person pediatric care. We take a whole-child approach, addressing how the brain, body, and behavior interact to treat the root causes of developmental and school-related challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and standardization of neuropsychology assessment protocols and standards
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children with neurodevelopmental and school-related cases
  • Provide expert consultation to multidisciplinary treatment teams on diagnostic formulation
  • Maintain a consistent clinical presence with 24 hours of direct patient-facing care per week
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to neuropsychological testing staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards
  • Develop organization-wide clinical training programs focused on neurodevelopmental assessment
  • Collaborate on innovative programmatic service models and the use of AI in neuropsychological practice

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program
  • Completion of a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in the state of practice
  • 1+ years of post-licensure experience in pediatric neuropsychological evaluations
  • Proficiency in EHRs, spreadsheets, and clinical documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for presenting complex diagnostic information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN) or eligibility
  • Specialized interest in the assessment of developmental differences
