Lead Payment Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Payments team and act as the primary point of contact
• Monitor payment flows and ensure timely execution of high-priority transactions
• Oversee operational performance, SLA compliance, and processing quality
• Manage workload distribution, prioritization, and team coordination
• Analyze payment routes and support selection of efficient payment solutions
• Own operational reporting including volumes, error rates, and performance metrics
• Coordinate with banks and payment providers to resolve issues
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge bases
• Perform regular reconciliations across payment systems and accounting records
• Drive process improvements through automation and workflow optimization

Requirements

• Proven experience leading payments, treasury, or financial operations teams
• Strong understanding of payment operations and banking processes
• Experience managing operational KPIs and service quality standards
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and discrepancy investigations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with accounting systems (1C or similar) and Tableau
• Fluent in English and Russian
