Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product designers (currently ~3) and grow the design function
  • Drive end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery for AI-powered products
  • Partner closely with PMs, engineers and data scientists to define user journeys and product requirements
  • Establish and maintain design systems, interaction patterns and component libraries
  • Conduct and embed user research, usability testing and data-informed UX decisions
  • Mentor designers, run design reviews and raise the overall design bar across the organisation

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience
  • Product design
  • UX/UI expertise
  • AI product experience
  • Design systems
  • Prototyping (Figma/Sketch)
  • User research
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Portfolio of shipped products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at high-growth startups and large tech companies
  • Background building complex or enterprise-grade products
  • Demonstrable experience leading and scaling small design teams
  • Strong mentorship and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with ML/AI teams and data-driven product workflows
