Lead Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of request intake programs across teams and departments
• Track and enable teams to deliver impact using clear metrics and milestones
• Facilitate and improve wishlist program workflows and processes
• Manage budgets, resources, and external vendors or consultants
• Lead capacity planning and align priorities with strategic objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, leaders, and movement organizations
• Design program evaluation plans and report on qualitative and quantitative metrics

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in community management and community service ownership
• 8+ years of experience managing multi-stakeholder groups including staff, partners, and volunteers
• Proven track record of delivering results in complex projects and large teams
• Strong program management skills including prioritization, planning, and decision-making
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence distributed, multicultural teams
• Experience moving from ambiguity to action
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an international organization with a distributed workforce
• Experience working with the Wikimedia community or a similar movement-based culture
