Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and vision for an engineering squad to ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize the technical roadmap
• Implement processes and tools to drive high-velocity delivery across onshore and offshore teams
• Drive the successful delivery of software projects, including planning and resource allocation
• Lead AI-powered feature development and implement responsible AI practices
• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation with emerging technologies
• Identify and mitigate technical risks through data-driven decision making

Requirements

• 5+ years in Software Engineering
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
• Experience delivering complex projects with onshore and offshore developers
• Hands-on experience with backend systems, ideally in Go or cloud-native environments
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered features
• Experience integrating AI-assisted tools into the SDLC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience with medical, healthcare, or population health data (OHDSI, FHIR)
• Experience working in a HIPAA regulated environment
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, IAM, Firebase, or Pub/Sub
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and practices
