Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and optimize production-grade backend services
• Build modern, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for enterprise applications
• Design and build APIs including RESTful services, service contracts, and security patterns
• Implement event-driven architecture and resilient distributed system designs
• Utilize AI tools to improve engineering productivity across the development lifecycle
• Maintain high software engineering quality metrics including reliability, performance, and observability

Requirements

• Strong hands-on programming expertise in Java and Python
• Strong experience with React
• Experience with Next.js or modern front-end architecture patterns
• Deep experience building cloud-native applications using containers, Kubernetes, and microservices
• Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure
• Expertise in designing and building APIs
• Proven experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging
• Practical experience using AI tools for coding, testing, and debugging
• Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building agentic applications or AI-powered systems using LLMs
• Experience with Kafka or large-scale messaging ecosystems
• Experience with API gateways and service mesh
• Exposure to CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence architecture and engineering standards
