Lead Specialist Operational EHS - Services and Projects

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day EHS support for site activities and ensure EHS procedures are applied
• Define, deploy, and manage EHS standards, programs, and tools
• Manage consortium projects to ensure EHS and legal requirements are met by partners and subcontractors
• Conduct continuous site inspections and lead meetings with consortium partners
• Implement the Contractor's Health and Safety Management Plan and Emergency Response Plan
• Lead investigations of EHS events and drive corrective actions
• Provide EHS inductions and support Tool Box Trainings for employees and contractors
• Monitor EHS costs and provide reports to the Site Installation Manager and Project Director

Requirements

• DOSH Green Book Holder
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
• Additional training and qualifications in H&S Management
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction safety, health, and safety audits

Preferred Qualifications

• Local Sarawak nationals preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead programs/projects
