Lead SQA Engineer

Description Programmers Force is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead of SQA (Software Quality Assurance) to join our team. As the Lead SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing our software quality assurance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and driving the adoption of best practices and processes for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SQA team, providing guidance and mentorship
• Define and implement software quality assurance strategies and processes
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Identify and report software defects and issues, and track their resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Design and configure test environments, tools, and frameworks
• Monitor and analyze software metrics and quality indicators to improve software quality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software quality assurance

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in a senior SQA role, with management and leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance principles, processes, and best practices
• Experience with test planning, test case development, and test execution
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
