Lead Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers, Consultants, and Architects
• Research, design, and develop repeatable Routing and Optical solutions for critical infrastructure
• Act as a technical escalation point for engineering and consulting teams
• Collaborate with management and strategy teams on solution bundles
• Engage manufacturers for design assistance and lab access
• Provide technical leadership to drive technology sales
• Maintain major vendor certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Nokia)
• Develop standardized assessment and testing documentation

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on Service Provider experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Consultant or Architect role
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, SRA, or NRS II
• Proficiency in three or more: Cisco/Nokia/Ciena Transport, Cisco/Nokia/Ciena/Arista Routing, Networking (BGP/MPLS/IGP), DWDM/ROADM, or NetDevOps Automation
• Strong presentation, documentation, and customer service skills
• Understanding of business costing, P&L, and pricing
