Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Maintain and organise legal files, databases, and document management systems
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, and appointments for legal team members
  • Assist with the drafting of routine legal documents and correspondence under supervision
  • Conduct basic legal research and compile reference materials as required
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties in a professional manner
  • Ensure all deadlines and compliance requirements are tracked and met

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal administrative or paralegal support role
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, documentation, and processes
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential legal matters
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field
