About the Company

Ritual is building a sovereign, execution layer for AI, with our private testnet already live and running. The Ritual chain is the first blockchain custom-built to support AI-native operations, designed from the ground up to enable a new class of applications at the intersection of crypto and AI.

Responsibilities

• Build the legal function from the ground up, including creating policies, processes, and templates
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on legal, regulatory, and business matters
• Oversee corporate governance, including board resolutions, minutes, and shareholder agreements
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, partnership, and employment contracts
• Develop and maintain compliance programs for GDPR, AML, OFAC, and data privacy
• Stay updated on regulatory developments impacting blockchain and AI
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support fundraising activities, term sheets, and equity administration

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house
• Experience with early-stage or high-growth companies in Web3 or AI
• Expertise in corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity working with Web3 teams
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
