Job description

Responsibilities

  • Review and perform risk-based assessments of income and expenditure contracts, including service/partnership agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Draft, amend, and systematize company contractual templates, legally binding notices, and internal contract policies.
  • Lead negotiations and manage communications with counterparties and stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Provide legal support for RFP procedures and custom contractual terms in tender documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Billing, etc.) to streamline contract review processes and implement automation tools.

Requirements

  • University degree in law (LL.B., LL.M. preferred).
  • 3+ years of professional experience in an international environment.
  • Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating B2B SaaS agreements and commercial contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of the common law system, specifically the laws of England and Wales.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for legal drafting and negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of general principles of civil law, corporate law, and private international law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and other major data protection frameworks.
  • Previous experience working in a consulting firm, IT company, or RegTech environment.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC compliance principles.
