Job description
Responsibilities
- Source and monitor legal materials across the MENA region, including official gazettes, legislation, case law, and regulatory content
- Evaluate and prioritize content using expert legal judgment to determine relevance for customers
- Decide which materials require English translation based on importance, demand, and capacity
- Analyze Arabic-language legal texts with precision and classify content according to platform standards
- Review and quality-check content and translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for publication
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional legal developments to inform content decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely MENA content
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited law school or equivalent relevant legal qualification
- Native Arabic speaker with full professional fluency in English
- Deep knowledge of Middle Eastern legal systems and Civil Law principles
- Exceptional legal reading and analytical skills in Arabic
- Strong editorial judgment and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with digital research environments, content management systems, and online legal research tools
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet publishing schedules independently
