Legal Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations and legal developments across the Middle East
• Support Legal Counsel with drafting, review and administration of contracts, NDAs, and corporate documents
• Maintain contract trackers, legal reports, and internal legal records
• Support corporate housekeeping including powers of attorney, notarisation, and attestation
• Coordinate collection, circulation, and archiving of legal documents
• Follow up with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and notaries on ongoing matters
• Review external counsel invoices and support payment processes
• Assist with compliance, data privacy, and competition law initiatives
• Support the digitalisation of Legal Department processes and legal-tech tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law is required
• Currently based in the UAE
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or postgraduate legal qualification
• Previous internship or work experience in a UAE law firm or in-house legal department
• Arabic language skills
• Interest or experience in legal technology or contract management
