Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle hiring across legal roles including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and closing
• Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements
• Build scalable processes and track recruitment metrics
• Source and engage passive candidates, specifically lawyers
• Evangelize Crosby and the future of legal practice
• Build a high-quality candidate experience
• Protect the team's time while maintaining a high hiring bar

Requirements

• Recruiting experience in the legal domain or high-slope recruiting in another domain
• Proven ability to close in-demand, discerning candidates
• Strong sourcing instincts and ability to build pipelines from scratch
• Excellent communication skills to earn trust with candidates and managers
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
• Interest in AI and its impact on professional work
• Experience with an ATS (Ashby preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an early or "first" recruiter building from 0 to 1
• Experience recruiting lawyers or high-end professional talent
• Strong culture and team building skills
