Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design and build levels and environments using Unity and Blender
  • Own the design process from initial blockout to final polish
  • Work within the engine to iterate, debug, and polish levels, enemies, and boss fights
  • Analyze player data and feedback to optimize mechanics and level design
  • Standardize, document, and communicate designs to the wider team
  • Iterate quickly based on playtester and player feedback

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and building levels in Unity and Blender
  • General understanding of Blender Geometry Nodes
  • Strong creative and analytical skills with a focus on player fun and replayability
  • Ability to work fast and pivot quickly in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and sharing design intent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming skills in Unity are a plus
