Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to members via text-based chat, video calls, and phone calls
• Onboard users with initial phone calls and complete multidimensional assessments
• Work within Atlas, Pelago's AI-native EHR, to automate documentation and surface guidance
• Monitor member progress and offer therapeutic strategies for cravings and temptations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive member experience and provide product feedback
• Uphold good standing with active licenses and certifications
• Attend scheduled team meetings and case discussions

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) credential
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of clinical experience delivering CBT or behavioral support for substance use disorders
• Proficiency with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), MAT coordination, and Relapse Prevention
• Comfort working in an AI-augmented care environment
• Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary healthcare teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technological fluency and adaptability in fast-moving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior telehealth experience across multiple time zones or digital health settings
