M&A Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and screen M&A targets aligned with IONITY’s strategic growth agenda, including charging networks and technology bolt-ons.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities and develop investment theses for senior leadership.
• Lead all workstreams of live transactions, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence coordination.
• Build robust business cases and financial models, including DCF, scenario analyses, and IRR/return analysis.
• Coordinate external advisors (legal, financial, technical, tax) and manage data room processes.
• Act as the key internal coordinator across Finance, Legal, Operations, and People & Culture.
• Support post-acquisition integration planning and handover to operational teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy consulting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including DCF, LBO/return analyses, and earn-out structures.
• Hands-on experience managing due diligence processes and multi-disciplinary workstreams.
• Experience in or a strong affinity for the energy, mobility, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare investment materials for senior executives.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
