Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Scale and optimize existing ML systems, including feature stores, model serving, and orchestration pipelines
• Build reproducible, automated ML pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Design and implement new components of the ML stack with a focus on scalability and modularity
• Set ML engineering standards and mentor teammates
• Own production reliability, uptime, and performance for real-time, business-critical ML systems

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production ML infrastructure
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and distributed systems design
• Hands-on experience with the full ML lifecycle (feature engineering, serving, deployment, monitoring)
• Proficiency in Scala and Python
• Experience with Spark and Flink
• Experience operating systems at scale, including performance tuning and observability
• Significant experience building and operating workloads on AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building ML infrastructure for fintech applications
• Track record of scaling ML systems through significant growth
• Prior experience as an ML engineer at a startup
