Job description

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and develop a team of analysts performing EDD reviews
  • Own daily operations, workload planning, and capacity management
  • Establish and monitor team performance metrics including timeliness and quality
  • Lead quality control and sampling programs for completed reviews
  • Manage escalations of financial crime red flags and unusual activity
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to obtain required customer documentation
  • Coordinate audit, compliance testing, and exam support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of BSA/AML compliance experience in financial services
  • Direct experience conducting EDD reviews on high-risk customers
  • Experience analyzing complex ownership structures
  • Prior people leadership or formal lead experience
  • Strong understanding of financial crimes risks and red flag indicators
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CAMS, CFCS, or CFE
  • Experience with BaaS, fintech, or MSB industries
  • Experience with Actimize or comparable case management tools
  • Experience supporting SAR investigations
