Manager, Client Data Science

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow three direct reports and foster growth across the Data Science team
• Write and optimize R, Python, or SQL scripts for effective data processing
• Adapt existing tools and methods to meet evolving needs using machine learning and statistical skills
• Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources to derive insights
• Create clear visualizations and reports for diverse audiences
• Engage with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and develop tailored solutions
• Document project status and updates using tools like JIRA

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a comparable field
• 3+ years of coding experience, including 2+ years specifically in R or Python
• Advanced coding skills in Python or R
• 1+ years of people management or mentorship experience
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or social science field

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree
• Intermediate knowledge of Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, and Visualizations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and empathy skills
