Manager II, Data Domain Teams

Responsibilities

• Coach, motivate, and professionally develop direct reports across active domain squads
• Conduct regular 1:1s, career development planning, and performance reviews
• Manage compensation cycles and assess squad health
• Coach Analytics Engineers through upskilling arcs from visualization to data modeling
• Partner with Director of Data Solutions to align squad capacity with product priorities
• Collaborate with Data Platform, Program Management, and Data Governance leads
• Lead staffing forecasting and the hiring process for domain squad roles
• Implement lean solutions and AI-assisted workflows to improve team efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in a technical area such as data, analytics, or software engineering
• Proven experience in a management role with direct people leadership
• Ability to lead teams through organizational change
• Technical breadth sufficient to participate in squad design conversations
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills
• Ability to manage complex problems and identify root causes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a data, analytics, or platform organization
• Experience working within an agile or domain-squad operating model
• Previous experience as a technical individual contributor
