Manager - Impact

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, design, and delivery of interventions to improve outcomes for smallholder farmers
• Evaluate opportunities in the agricultural sector, assessing ROI, risk, and feasibility
• Design programs from implementation planning through pilot design and stakeholder coordination
• Track results, evaluate impact, and iterate on programs
• Manage and develop a small team of analysts remotely and across cultures
• Build and maintain relationships with private sector and government partners
• Conduct fieldwork in smallholder communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, or Asia

Requirements

• 6-12 years of professional experience
• At least 3 years in strategy consulting or finance/PE, including Project Leader or Engagement Manager level
• 2+ years in industry (tech, VC-backed startups, or impact investing) or relevant expertise in agritech, climate tech, or carbon sequestration
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with familiarity with large datasets and basic statistics
• Proficiency with R, Python, or similar tools, including the use of AI tools for coding and automation
• Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships
• Experience managing teams remotely and across cultures
• University degree in science or engineering (preferred)
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to origin locations
