Manager, Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual audit plan for MENA legal entities, including updating the audit universe and completing risk assessment processes.
• Lead the hands-on delivery and oversight of the audit plan to ensure timely and relevant outcomes across Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
• Document and communicate key audit findings and risk exposures to senior management, regional Boards, and Risk Committees.
• Monitor the implementation of audit findings and measure the effectiveness of improvements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and local regulators.
• Promote a strong control culture and ensure audit activities align with UAE regulatory expectations.
• Utilize AI and Data Analytics to support continuous improvement monitoring and automated audit routines.

Requirements

• University degree and a minimum of 12 years of audit experience.
• Proven track record in fintech, payments, technology, or other regulated financial institutions within the MENA region.
• Deep working knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, including CBUAE, DIFC, or ADGM.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CA, or CAMS is essential.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to summarize complex findings for cross-functional audiences.
