Manager of Closing

Responsibilities

• Manage talent acquisition, sourcing, screening, and interviewing
• Oversee performance management, reviews, and coaching
• Cultivate positive team culture and employee engagement
• Train and onboard new hires
• Lead departmental projects, scoping, and resource allocation
• Manage team pipeline, workload, and quality control
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Connect company goals to department-level action items
• Analyze data and present insights to leadership

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in loan processing or closing
• Deep knowledge of Right of Rescission (RTC) requirements
• Understanding of title exceptions, liens, judgments, and payoffs
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams
• Ability to manage projects from ideation to execution
• Strong ability to write policies and procedures
• Experience with change management and conflict resolution
• Data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with HEIs
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup
