Manager, Quality Practice Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for clinical, quality, and risk adjustment functions
• Develop and oversee clinical programs for physician education and communication
• Analyze reports to identify trends and recommend actions to increase quality of care and reduce costs
• Establish and maintain tracking systems for healthcare quality improvement according to regulatory requirements
• Manage and evaluate staff performance related to clinical and healthcare services improvement
• Maintain knowledge of HEDIS requirements and implement performance methods to improve outcomes
• Coordinate external programmatic oversight visits for contracted providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Nursing, Public Health Administration, Business, or equivalent experience
• 3 or more years of supervisory/management experience
• 5+ years' experience working in a managed care environment
• Preferred: Registered Nurse, Certified Health Care Risk Management certification, Foreign MD, or AAPC certification
